My Story
I was born in Minnesota in 1985 and spent most of my childhood there. I was blessed to meet my wife Emily at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, and we were married after graduating in 2008. God has blessed us with five children: Isaiah, Samuel, Josiah, Faith, and Eden.

Christ the King is the fifth congregation I’ve had the chance to serve. I spent my vicar (internship) year at Faith Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg, GA from 2010-2011. Soon afterward, I served a one-year call at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Houston, TX (2011-2012). After graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2013, I was assigned to St. Peter Lutheran Church in St. Peter, MN. I served there for five years before accepting a call to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Green Bay, WI in 2018. Now my family and I are excited to serve here in the Tulsa metro area since 2021. Our family has experience serving God's people all over the country, and now we're thankful to call Oklahoma home.

I love preaching and teaching God’s Word and getting to meet and care for people. If you would like to learn more about Jesus your Savior or about what the Bible teaches, please let me know. We would love to have you join us for our Sunday worship service, and I would love to have the chance to talk with you more about Jesus. God bless you!
