Upside-Down Savior

Welcome to Pastor Nathan's blog: Upside-Down Savior. There is something upside-down about Jesus. In our world, it’s a fight to the top. If life is like a pyramid, everyone wants to get to the top, and it doesn’t seem to matter how many people get squashed along the way. Here’s the problem: Does anyone actually make it? As we struggle and fight and fail to make it through each day, is there any peace? Any joy? Any hope? Jesus is different. He takes the pyramid that everyone is trying to get to the top of, and he flips it upside-down. Then, in inexplicable grace, he put himself on the bottom. He left heaven to come as our Savior to earth. He humbled himself below everyone else and died on the cross for our sins. Who does that? Just Jesus. He must really love us! There’s something upside-down about Jesus.

We hope you can read these devotions and sermons to learn about the incredible story of God's upside-down grace to us in Jesus Christ.
