Sin. Guilt. Frustration. Sickness. It starts to seem like it’s not even worth trying to address them. Not worth even trying to move forward. Another and another and another. Wave upon wave upon wave…
Know what you need? Grace. Thankfully, there’s something else that comes in waves—over and over again. Unstopping. It’s God’s grace. “From his fullness we have all received grace upon grace” (John 1:16). Wave after wave of grace. Forgiveness in Jesus’ cross. Eternal life in heaven. God with us every day. Food and clothes and car and home. Grace upon grace upon grace. It’s true that the struggles doesn’t stop. At least, not in this life. The waves of life continue to crash. But you’ve got God’s grace. Grace upon grace.
