The sun is getting stronger—even in the upper Midwest! The high where I live was about 10 degrees yesterday, but the sun still melted snow and ice on streets and parking lots—even though it’s 93 million miles away! It’s amazing to think of the power of the sun—we can’t even look at it!
So imagine the greatness of God. King David wrote, “Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth” (Psalm 108:5). Even the sun is nothing compared with our God. He created it with the word of his mouth. If we can’t stand to look at the sun—even though it’s 93 million miles away—how much less do we deserve God’s love. But he still loves us! Jesus came down from heaven and died and rose to save us. Wow! I can’t look at the sun, but I can see even more of God’s glory in my Savior Jesus. How can you share God’s glory today?
