The King of Kings

I’m ready to make a bold prediction for Election Day. After all the votes are cast and counted, I am confident who will be in power. Ready to hear it? Jesus! That’s the Bible’s promise. At the end of the Bible, we get to see Jesus as he really is: Powerful. Magnificent. Victorious. As Jesus rides his white horse with the angel armies of heaven around him, “On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords” (Revelation 19:16). You already know who the King is: Jesus!

As you vote today, as you pray for this country we’re so blessed to live in, as you watch the election results, remember this: Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords. The real Ruler of all doesn’t live in a white house. He isn’t elected by popular vote. Thank God! The real Ruler is our Savior who lived for us, died for us, rose for us, and has prepared our home in heaven for us. The future is secure in his hands. You can have peace in the chaos around us. Jesus has got this. He’s the King of kings and Lord of lords.
